Back in my youth, I was a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, and spent time coaching and teaching group exercise at the YMCA before launching my own training business. Finding my passion for fitness completely changed my life, and building a place where others can find their own path has always been the heart of Rain City Fit. I have an M.S. in Sport–Exercise Psychology, and for more than a decade I’ve worked as a personal trainer and strength/mental performance coach, helping people build skills that support both their physical development and their overall well-being. My coaching philosophy blends evidence-based strength training with the mental tools that support confidence, resilience, and self-autonomy. Just as importantly, I’m committed to creating an inclusive, empowering gym environment where folks of all identities can safely explore their strength and appreciate their bodies. Beyond day-to-day gym operations, I serve as Director of RCPU and Pride Deadlift Party where we regularly host non-sanctioned strength events focused on raising money for marginalized and vulnerable communities. These events reflect what matters most to Rain City Fit: uplifting people, expanding access to strength sports, and building a community rooted in equity, joy, and collective power.
